Kid's Room Furniture

Furnishing a Kid’s Room

There are two ways to go when designing a kid’s room-elaborate or simple. Doing an elaborate theme in a kid’s room can be so fun! However, your child could outgrow the theme in a matter of years. But if simple is not quite your style, D.J.’s Painting and Remodeling thinks that there is a way to meet in the middle by choosing furnishings that will last through changing themes and growing kids.

Bed
When it’s time to move the crib out of the room and put in a big kid’s bed, D.J.’s Painting and Remodeling thinks going with a true big kid bed is a great option. Let your toddler sleep in a twin-sized bed. Bedding and the like can be changed throughout their growth without having to replace the mattress each time.

Storage
Let’s face it. Each year, your kid grows out of the pants, the shirts, and the shoes. Pick a dresser that will not skimp on the clothing storage and make sure the closet is set up to accept bigger and bigger sizes. Right now, the room needs toy storage more than anything. D.J.’s Painting andRemodeling thinks it is possible to find pieces that hold the toys right now and be replaced by other things as they grow.

Make your kid’s room fun for them and easy for you to transition as they grow by making wise choices about the furniture you pick. D.J.’s Painting and Remodeling believes it can be easy to go from fun and childlike to a look of maturity using the same furniture if you plan it right!
